JACK MARTINEZ, DYNAMIC ILLUSTRATOR: As I create my brand image, prepare my press release, and begin the editing process for my upcoming book, the first of a series, ‘historical, hysterical tangents’, I want to give thanks to my dynamic illustrator, Jack Martinez. – Well recognized as a scholar, animator, collaborator, and most importantly, a very unique artist diving into illustration for print publications, Jack agreed to partner with me on the project to design and illustrate the book’s cover, internal images throughout, and the brand logo for Pun Unintended Publishing. The hardcover illustrated edition is a must have for all!

She’s an amazing scholar who inspired the narrative approach I took when laying out the style of my book. Truly the best!

AMBER ROSE GODDEN, EDITOR: Never say never. I thought I’d never locate a professional editor to help me kick off my first book without giving up an arm and a leg. I mean I only have two of each and given that I wish I could reinvent myself as an octopus, so I’d be able to accomplish more, I’d never be able to give up either of my limbs. Okay, there I go saying ‘never’ again. Just after I said to not say that word. Geez. – Where was I…oh yeah, my editor, Amber Rose Godden. I need more limbs, yes, but also more eyes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for working with me. I know I’ve partnering with the best!

WENDY, ME – AUTHOR/PUBLISHER: I’ve learned, collaboration is how amazing things get accomplished. – A lone wolf, no doubt, but admittedly, my inspiration is fueled by my family, students, peers, and friends. Without them, I would not have gotten started. Not anytime soon, I mean. I’d still be daydreaming about all the short stories in my head…still researching…[Now, a quick side question: Would it be awkward if I were to refer to myself in third person. As if I weren’t typing my own post. Like some people do. I think so. Kinda like writing your own ‘biography’ instead of just calling it an ‘autobiography’.]…LOL…[Another side question, do people still say ‘LOL’ aloud or is it just me? I say that when it’s not really funny, or I’m too tired to express emotion. Okay, maybe it’s just me. 😀 I know the dots are annoying. Sorry…]

Okay here I go again. I can’t stop myself, so I will say that word one more time before they take me away…
